This ring was given by Finrod Felagund -Galadriel's brother- to Barahir, after Barahir saved is life in the Dagor Bragollach -aka sudden flame battle- the fourth of the great battles of Beleriand's war.
After that the ring became a relic of Isildur's family.

From the Latin verb memini, meministi, meminisse, "to remember". Memento is the imperative form, so it means "remember". I've choosen this name for the fanlisting because this ring remembers that Aragorn is Isildur's heir.

Because I liked this ring since the first time I've saw it. I was so crazy about this ring that my best friends, moved to pity, give me a ring replica for Christmas, and I wear it everyday ^^''
